Well this is probably one of the latest RIPS ever but I just heard today that Lorissa McComas died last year. Who? Well Lorissa was an adult model and actress who had done some mainstream films and according to an interview was about to give up the seeder side of Hollywood and move into higher grade B and low level A films.

A lot of the info was by Lorissa so you can choose to believe or not believe some of the allegations. The facts are Lorissa's mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and Lorissa moved from Los Angeles to Florida to help care for her. While there her mother died, accoring to Lorissa she was lying in bed with her when she died. A few weeks later she was on a film shoot when her father committed suicide. Lorisa came home to find his body. Around this time she was also diagnosed with an incurable disease, RF Dystrrophy, which caused extreme pain in her legs and feet. According to Lorissa it left her legs deformed and she could no longer do nude work. At times she was confined to a wheelchair.
During this time she was reported as an unfit mother and her child was taken by protective services (the whole story is on the blog), and suffereed a mental break forcing her to be hospitalized in a mental institution. Her brother was also dying of aids and on Nov 3 of 2009, Lorissa McComas took her own life. Her brother, who lived with her, stopped taking his Aids medication and died later that week.
It's weird I found this out today, her name just popped into my head and I did a search. Found some old videos of her and one had a RIP which made me investigate further. I say weird today, because one of her mainstram films was the 1995 remake of Piranha. I had no clue she was in it.
No matter what you think about adult entertainment, whether you believe her claims about why her child was taken, the story of Lorissa McComas is a tragedy.
I have since heard, from an unconfirmed source, make of it what you will, that Lorissa and her brother both committed suicide by gunshot. The real 100% unaldurated truth will probably never be known. Regardless it is a sad story and my heart goes out to her family

ReplyDeleteI agree it is sad and I don't know if all the circumstances will ever be known. Everything I have found says she died of a self inflicted gunshot other than one post from her family that she died of medical related issues. Which could easily fit in with her suicide due to medical, and emotional distress.
ReplyDeletePosiibly someone could force her medical records to be revealed, but at what point do we go to far. It's human to be curious, especially about someone who we liked or were a fan of, but in the end what do we profit by intruding on her familys grief.
It is sad and regardless how you feel about her career choices, this is a sad story and she deserved far better in life

But anyway, they never replied back, but wanted to know what I had of theirs. I told them to have Doug call me that we know each other well.... Then nothing. Then months after this, is when I find out that special friend... IS DEAD??!!!!

I also worked for Lorissa & was a close friend to her & Doug & friends with Camille also. I really need to find & speak to Doug & Camille. is Camille with you Phyllis? I also have property of Lorissa's I guess now is Doug's. I been trying since like 2007-08 to get in touch with them. I had their addy & phone info when they left Florida, but my old cell was smashed & unrecoverable a couple months after they left. For some strange reason I cannot get into touch with anyone through their so called web service. I have their Master Data back ups on dvd's, that belonged to them, & I not wish to keep holding onto them. I also had to pay alot to get them, to give them back to them. ReplyDeleteLord Dixie? No offence but I aint saying nothing about the things that went on, I was almost killed as well in some of that stuffs that went on. It was wild at times. I also witnessed so very much. I cannot say or do anything until I am able to speak to Doug, &/or Camille, & also give Doug an opportunity to get their stuff back, or I will have to sell what I have to recoup what I had to pay to get possession of something that is theirs! It not belongs to me, & it hurts me to have them all the more so. Let's just say that swindlers & snakes were very much astir to my friends! That is why I dd what I could to get what I thought they would feel was MOST IMPORTANT to get back in possession of, that which was taken from them, & came to me thinking I can get it back to them, figuring I had a way of reaching them. Which I did, till my phone was destroyed, & I still have this property & a loss of close to $1500 total, to get it back for them of what was theirs! Plus I was threatened as well. I did what I could so that these snakes would not try to seek after them. So I PAID the price, & got it from them. They had other stuffs, but I was NOT able to get these. The bastards! But I know Doug, I knew he would have said GARY, SNAG THE MASTER BACKUPS OF VIDS & IMAGES ETC. That was For their web site.

WOW - this is beyond shocking. I really wonder how much of this is true. I did a photo shoot back in 1995 with Lorissa and manufactured the Motion trading card of her - and I also manufactured the trading promo card for her Lap Dancing movie.

@ MarsRevealer-No offense but I was referring to "Aunt Phyllis" who offered to set the record straight. Anything that doesn't come from Lorissa's family is no more than rumor and gossip. I have taken a "hands off" approach to comments as I believe people should be free to express themselves, however this should not be taken as a sign that all comments are factual. ANyhting I find disrespectful toward Lorissa or her family will be deleted. Until I see proof otherwise I will assume that "Aunt Phyllis" is who she says she is
ReplyDelete@ Jeff Right now the only thing that seems confirmed by all parties is that Lorissa is sadly deceased along with her brother, and that she was suffering from RF Dystrophy. I personaly believe that she did commit suicide but I have heard conflicting stories of how and if she really did. AS I mentioned in another comment we may never know the whole truth, but it is a tragedy and Lorissa is missed

ReplyDeleteRenny and Lorissa lived across the street from me in Grove City before they moved to Cincinnati. Renny and I were great friends and stayed at each others houses on many nights. Lorissa was quite young when they moved. I would really like to know what happened, as I have not been able to find anything as well.

She was a wonderful person with a wonderful heart! I cry for her every day! It disgusts me to hear people talk bad, she was the best person you could ever meet! ILY!!!!!!! Susan

I met lorrissa for the first time one late night in the Hood in cocoa FL me and two other girls were walking home and seen this nice ass jaguar sitting on the side of the road and the first thing we all thought was somebody stole it and dumped it but as we walked up we see this white girl sitting in the car and she looked sacred so we stopped and asked if she was okay or needed help she said she ran out of gas lol so we had her lock up her car and we took her home with us and called a ride for her to get gas she cried that night just because we helped her ever since then she loved us and we loved her we tried to tell her about having all those people in her house but they had her mind gone and she was scared the last time i seen her was 2006and she gave me trictin's baby crib set for my son i wish i never got ride of it i Miss her so much we took her tho black spring break one year and she loved it that was the best the good days
